Anechoic Chambers – Semi-Anechoic Rooms – Soundproof Test Rooms
Anechoic chambers are soundproof rooms specifically designed and realized to completely absorb reflections inside the room, expressed by the sound absorption coefficient, and to obtain the maximum possible insulation from exterior sources of noise.
Inside an anechoic chamber the sound pressure levels are next to the "free field" (meaning that there are no reflected signals), favouring accuracy and precision of measurement, otherwise impossible.
Anechoic chambers are commonly used and become necessary each time we want to make an ideal sound measurement in laboratory, under optimal conditions. Namely with the maximum insulation from external noise sources and with an excellent sound absorption coefficient (next to "free field").
Bosco Italia designs and manufactures:
- Anechoic and semi-anechoic chambers
- Soundproof rooms for car tests
- Aircraft engines tests
- Wind tunnels sound insulation.
